Wendy's Story
Life
RIght now: Living in Troy (yes, by choice) in a nifty old house built in 1929. The yard is filled with herbs, flowers, and trees--grapes, too. I work 20 hours per week at Kootenai Valley Head Start (preschool/social service program for low-income children) as a Mental Health Coordinator (have a B.A. in Psychology/Sociology).
I'm in a percussion group called "Earth Sister Rhythm." We play mostly African beats, some Native American.
My son, Talus Orion, is 11 and in the 6th grade. He's a sports freak--plays soccer, basketball, football, skis, snowboards, skateboards, folfs, and golfs (I probably forgot something). He's really smart and does great at school except that he's a class clown and girl crazy.

e and started kindergarten this year. She is a real girlie-girl. Likes playing dress-up, having her nails painted, etc. She loves animals and going for walks.
My husband, Robert, is ten years older than me and a foot taller. He's a social worker for the Dept. of Family Services. He is so funny--lots of witty one-liners and I love to laugh, so that works. He is way high-energy and into sports, bird hunting, microbrews, cooking...
I am more sedate than I've ever been and it's kinda driving me crazy. I am going to go back to school or join the Peace Corp or something. I wish I was closer to an ocean, but I think Troy is a very cool town. The Troy Fine Arts Council brings a lot of culture to the community--foreign films, music, performance art. I need that.
