Wendy's Story

I was in the Navy for two years after nurse's training and served at Balboa Hospital in San Diego. That was after my husband Horst Dahm died. I remarried in 1989 and we bought a house in El Cajon, CA. In 1991 we retired and moved to Lebanon, MO. I got a job there in operating room and worked until 1999. sband Lester Schmidt was a Studebaker Parts dealer. In 2011 Lester died of Alzheimer's. We had had 22 years of marriage. In 2015 I moved to La Grande, OR near my parents, both still alive and lively.
