Life I am happily married to a career military man. Russ and I have been married over 17 years. We have a wonderful, son, Dylan (7). We are living in Washington DC. Russ works for the White House and will retire from the Army in less than a year. Life is busy but here is an update on my happenings since high school. I joined the Army Reserves in 1994 and was an LPN (hated nursing). I have finally found a career that I love. I am a paralegal and I am working towards law school. I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree summa cum laude (4.0 GPA) in a prelaw program. I worked as Senior Personal Banker at Wachovia Bank for 6 years and quit to be a stay at home mom. Once Dylan was ready for preschool, I went back to school. It took me a little longer to finally figure out what I wanted to do when I grew up. I knew that now was my chance since I was already at home to get back to the books. I love the legal field. It is very different from banking. My husband has been deployed more than half our son's life. He was in the 82nd Airborne Division and served in Afghanistan and Iraq 4 times. He was in Fallujah during all that mess and I have never been so worried in my life. Being a military spouse is the hardest job in the world.
