In 1987, my plan was to enter the Air Force and see the world. A Navy recruiter convinced me there was a better way to go, so I signed up. While delayed enlisted and waiting for my school to open, I traveled to Sunny Florida to spend some time on the beach before boot camp. Little did I know, I would meet the man of my dreams. I decided getting married and starting a family was much better than joining the military, especially with Desert Storm brewing. So, I stayed in Florida, got married, went to college, graduated with my Bachelor¿s in Psychology and gave birth to two beautiful children, Amber Starr and Quinton Madison Weiss.
