Wendy's Story
Life
Attended Meridian Jr. College two years and then went off to USM. Loved USM. I was very involved and biggest honor was being charter president of Eta Zeta chapter of Alpha Delta Pi. Held several offices in this sorority. Graduated with BS in Business Administration. Moved to Jackson, MS to make my new home. Started career in apartment management 2/15/88. ust. Top manager out of 65 property managers. I quit this business August 2004. Now I run my own RV business on Hwy 49 South near Star, MS (called Wendy Oaks RV Resort).
Workplace
Worked in apartment management for 16 years. Built RV park from ground up and now run it. Most amazing business. It is less stressful than running an apartment community and the customers are most always very friendly and interesting people. Retirement future is much brighter.
