Wesley's Story
Life
After High School and a couple of years of El Camino and working as an Operating Engineer, I joined the Peace Corps with my tour in Peru. 1964 joined the U.S. Army as a Combat Engineer an spent a tour in Viet-Nam. Having my California 'A' Engineering License it was out of the service an into the Contracting buisness in San Luis Obispo. With that came flying, racing, 4 daughters and divorce. Retired now with a home in Mexico (Los Mochis, Sinaloa) and Meadowbrook
California (Riverside County). ( I must of wrote this years ago because in 2006 I sold my home in Meadowbrook and moved to Playas de Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Love it here, always said I wished I'd lived in the old Western days and appears I received my wish. Posted June 2009 )
Started racing off-road racing again with Letner Racing and in 2010 took the Championship for S.C.O.R.E. INTERNATIONAL (baja races .. san felipe 250 ~ Baja 500 ~ Baja 1000) CLASS 1 UNLIMITED .

Haven't been in here for years ,, todays date ; december 25th. 2012 .... I can see why .. nothing has changed to speak of .. still love living in mexico .. the young guns are still winning races and I'm still having fun ! Yep .. life is very interesting . 2023 .. Not much has changed from above. Still living in Mexico with no plans to move back to the states unless health becomes an issue. I see I have a lot of visits from North Torrance High which I attended in my freshman year.. My sophomore , junior & senior year I attended Torrance High.. ... wesley
