Life I'm living in Mound House, NV just outside of Carson City with my wife of 51 years. After graduating PHS and spending three semesters at AVC I joined the Army and went to flight school. Spent a year in Viet Nam then three years at Fort Wolters, Texas as a Primary flight instructor. Met my wife while I was in flight school and she was in nursing school. We were married when I returned from Viet Nam. Left the Army in 1973 and went back to school for two years. Flew for Santa Monica Police for two years then started working for the City of Lakewood flying a helicopter with the sheriffs department. I was the Chief Pilot from 1980 to 2010. I retired in July 2010. My wife was a clinical nurse specialist in oncology at Saint Jude Medical Center in Fullerton. She retired in July2012. I have a son (Rick) who is 51, a married granddaughter (Jessica)31, a grandson (Zack)20 and two step grand children, Haley and Tony. I now have five great grand children.
