Jackie's Story
Life
Have 2 beautiful daughters jodi who is a cpa for a resort in orlando and married to a food and beverage dir of one of the resorts. Jill at age 17 was in a fatal auto accident 2 weeks in to senior year in 2001. very difficult time,
Literally fell apart. so now i do what i want to when i want to. have been divorced 22 years almost. dont know why, time just semed to slip by raising the kids.
when Jill passed i was amess for a couple of years, and my mind just couldnt function, but the last 3 years an artist in me has emerged as a sculptor and designer. what a hooot, who would have ever known, but i am very happy doing it.
ive sold all my real estate and now live in what passes for a condo/duplex in the town, which was quite freeing, because now i dont have to do maintenanace, yeah!!!
both my parents are alive and very well, they celebrated their 50 wedding ann on nov 12,2005 on the same day my daughter was married which was very nice.
wanted to come to a reunion with all of you, but situations have not permitted it. Did get together for lunch with a few friends in August last year in Tecumseh. Had coffee at the local coffee house owned by Pat and Sue Kane. They also have a B&B up stairs, so any out of towners, be sure to stay with them.
life has been blessed for me in many ways and testing in others, just like every one elses.
would like to hear from all of you even just to say hi.
hope life has been good to you and that some of your hopes and dreams have been fulfilled. best wishes to all.
I have several heros or people that I admire tremendously. My Mother and 'Father who have been my biggest champions thru out the years and of which I dont know what ...Expand for more
I would have done without them healping me raise my girls to be the wonderful kids that they are. Pat Kane (class of 73) who taught me to swim when I was freshman. Jodie Graham who had the greatest laugh in the world, by which my oldest dauthers name came to be. Mr Gross, my drafting teacher who told me I could do anything and do it well. Jim Daniel, my captain on the force who taught me everything I know to protect and serve. Denise Osburn for always including me in H.S. and bringing me out of my shyness. Bill Binder for helping me to pass Math. Julie Murphy for helping me strive to be the bast in athletics I could be. Darrell Bozeman for being the leader of our class thru out school. Jack Colson for teaching me to dance to the 50's. Nancy Meads for being my forever friend and suger cookie pal. And so many more I could write a book!
The one person from my past who I'd most like to see again is Charles Gross, because he inspired me to shoot for the moon stars, and lasso the sun!.
My obsission is and always has been ........to leave this world a better place for having been here.
My biggest surprise is that I have actually lived this long, and been blessed so abundantly.
As a parent my girls have tought me to love unconditionally. And if you want the ultimate love, along with it you must be willing to risk the ultimate hurt.
If I won $100 million Id give 10% to my church, put some in a trust for my daughter, divide a large amount between those that I love and those that have touched my life in some way, and build my own town for 50s and up to live in comfort and safty, a comfortable little community.
Ill leave some questions on this questionaire to be answered another time
