Life
Widowed. Five grown children. Still working. Split my time between home in the desert and home in mountains. Show and compete an award winning English Jack Russell Terrier, born in London. W. L. Richard, CIC, ARM, AAI, (Will) is the founder and managing partner of Insight Consulting Group located in Phoenix, Arizona. Insight Consulting Group offers management, organizational development, sales management, and risk management services to a wide array of agency and company clients.
Will has been active in the management consulting and risk management industry for over thirty-five years having served in a wide variety of senior level positions. Will spent twenty years in both agency and company management positions. He has served as a senior operations officer and marketing officer as well as vice president of regional operations for an international corporation. In addition, he was an owner and manager of a general agency and has served on the boards of several agencies, companies and non profit associations. He was a vice president with a national insurance company and president of a regional company. Will also worked on several national projects for a world renowned management consulting company.

rs International (CRM) and previously served as President of the National Alliance Research Academy and Senior Vice President of the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors (CIC). He is also co-founder of the National Alliance School for Producer Development.
Will continues to serve as an agency management and educational consultant for National Alliance programs and lectures as a member of the National Faculty. He is a licensed risk manager as well as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and an Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI). Will is also a member of The Society of Insurance Research. He has served on non profit boards and has written a publication on the operations of boards and the duties of board members.
A graduate of the University of Texas, Will also completed his MBA studies at Temple University and the University of Dallas, as well as graduate programs at SMU and Stanford. His professional credentials include serving on the Texas Insurance Advisory Association, the Texas Workers Compensation Assigned Risk Pool, Advisory Committee for the Insurance Information Institute, and NAICÂs Advisory Committee on Profitability and Investment Income.
He is a published author, and consults and lectures extensively for industry and agency groups. In addition, he is the owner of a web based travel service. When not working, he divides his time between his home in the Valley of the Sun and the mountains. He plays golf, tennis and is a cross country skier and certified scuba diver.
