Will Warmoth:  

In my Sophomore year every day at noon I would play "Magic Carpet Ride" by Steppenwolf on the juke box in the lunch room. Then I would hear someone yell "Warmoth!". Then in 2005 I came across a Repair Shop in Forest Grove That had an Autographed picture of Steppenwolf. I asked the Owner how he got that and he said the drummer lives in Forest Grove and he works on his van. When he said he was a really old guy.....I laughed. In drivers Education we drove a brand new AMC Matadore. I think Rick Wilson was in that car with me. That car could do 20mph on just the idle in drive. I was the first one in our car to drive. I had been driving my Brothers Derby cars since I was 12, so I wasn't nervous. The Teacher said to weave through the cones in the parking lot, so I did so spinning the wheel back and forth and using the side walls. I said how was that?
