Life

Workplace
Currently work at DISA in Falls Church as a Department of the Defense civilian. I am also a Medical Service Corps officer in the Army Reserve.
Military
Joined the Army Reserve in 1987 as a Light Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic. Went on active duty in 1988 and was stationed in Germany for ...Expand for more
two years. Left Germany for Ft. Carson in 1990. Missed "the Storm" and transfered back into the Army Reserve in 1992 and assigned to the 919th Dental Detachment in Denver. Kicked out in 1997 for being an E-4 for 10 years (no PLDC). Back in with a direct commission in 1999 to the Medical Service Corps (who needs PLDC!). Assigned to the 7202 Installation Medical Support Unit (IMSU) in Richmond from 1999-2000. Transfered to the 48th Combat Support Hospital (CSH) where I have been Company XO, Company Commander, and assistant Hospital XO. I was activated for OIF 06-08 and was in Kuwait for seven months and Baghdad for five, now I'm back with the 48th CSH in lovely Fort Meade.
