Willa's Story
Life
I am currently The Circulation Supervisor at the Argentine Branch of the Kansas City, Kansas Public Library. I have been employed at the library for over 15 years and with the USD500 school district for a total of 25 years. I have hours toward my Masters degree in Library Science Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. I attended Kansas City, Kansas Community College where I received my Associates Degree. After receiving my AA, I went on to attend Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas where I received my BA.
I enjoy storytelling and I love to present a one-woman characterization of Harriet Tubman. ÂStrong as a man, brave as a lion, cunning as a fox, Harriet Tubman was undoubtedly one of the greatest Underground Railroad conductors of her time.

mber of the Strangers Rest Baptist Church KCK and participate in the Red Hat Society (nothing to do with church). My Red Hat Chapters are called the KC Red Hot Mommas and The KC Scarlet Divas. We love to dress up in our red hats / purple outfits and go places to eat and be seen.
I have one son who resides in Michigan. Grover Cleveland Jones III is an engineer for Daimler Chrysler and is currently on the PT Cruiser /Plymouth Neon Design Team he designs the air bags and brakes. Of course I drive a 2006 PT Cruiser.
my son is getting married May 1st, 2010 in Michigan. Theminvitations are going out as I write..Got to get out and get that dress this weekend. all of my family are doing fine. we are still very close knit so must of the fam is gearing up to go to the wedding.
