William Bosic:  

After high school I attended California State University at Long Beach and received my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work in 1972, followed by an MBA in Health Services Management. In 1973 I went to work for the California State Department of Youth Authority and I was sent to the California Criminal Justice Academy where I received my P.O.S.T. Certificate. My next employment was with the San Diego County Probation Department where I worked as a Sr. Deputy Probation Officer and a part-time faculty member in the criminal justice department at California State University at San Diego. Nearly a decade later I went into private practice as a Forensic Criminologist Consultant for 3 years. In 1985 I got married to my wife, Julia, and halfway through her Law School Degree we had our only child, Jade, who is now 23 years old and has just graduated from college. 1986 brought the development of a residential program for minor felons which has been utilized by the California juvenile courts for the past 30 years.
