William's Story
I moved away from Texarkana in 1978 and back again in 1994. I now live in an old cottage two story on acreage in the woods on Tennessee Rd, and work out of town about half the time, still managing railcar related businesses out of state until April 2017 when I plan to retire.
I married a tall Danish drug dealer (pharmacist) 18 years ago last October, but we divorced in May of 2016. Single again at 63 is not where I thought I would be. I love to travel both at home and abroad (4 trips to rural Ireland in the last 8 years and several in the States & Canada) and have great fun. Ouachita Mountains, attending Celtic or Cajun festivals, or involved in some other eccentric activity, I play old songs on old guitars with old friends at every opportunity. Life is much too short for golf.
My 3 children are all grown, have their sheepskins, and are happily married. I have 8 wonderful grandsons, 4 to 18 years old. No drama.
Working and being way too responsible after I married at 16 caused me to lose track of most of my old friends, but I would make up for that if given the chance. I set a great table, usually have at least 3 varieties of homebrew or single malt whiskey around at any given time, and would treat you right if you dropped in to see me.
