After graduating and playing around for a few months, I took test to enter the Navy, which I did exceptional on, but having a past FBI record at the age of 13, for finding the Air raid shelter below Lincoln fields in 1970, I wasn't able to join. A commanding officer from the Navy contacted me and with my test scores in hand and went to Philadelphia Supreme court and had my record expunged allowing me into the Navy. Which I did a 6 by 8 years as an Airman located in Moffett Field, California, (COMPACWINGSPAC Tactical Support Center) for 2 years and than traveling to Modesto California, to be stationed at Crows Landing Aux. Landing Field, for the rest of my tour supplying Fire rescue for local civilian towns and military planes practicing touch and go's. We also controlled and worked 5 Bombing ranges in the surrounding mountains for all service branches to use.. Having a top and crypt secret clearances upon discharged I returned home and became a Philadelphia police officer for approximately 9 months and transferred to the Philadelphia Prison department because they were making more money then the police. Believe it or not, I was making less being an police officer than when I was in the US Navy.. Unbelievable for someone who was only working because of the money.
