Life I joined the Navy right after graduating in '84. I was able to see a good portion of the world and also start my SCUBA diving odyssey by diving all througout the South Pacific in such places as Hawaii, Australia, Tonga, New Caledonia, and Bali. I stayed with the Navy almost 10 years, where I was fortunate enough to meet my wife Connie. We have three fantastic kids: Zachary, who is 20, Mitchell, who is 18, and Alexis who is 16. I couldn't ask for more. After getting out of the Navy, I was extremely lucky in landing a job at the Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory at NASA. I have been there over 12 years and am a senior Dive Operations Specialist and Critical Systems Operations Specialist and Technician. In the last 10 years I've been chipping away at the education I probably should have done right after leaving Hastings, but I have no complaints and I probably wouldn't be where I'm at now if I would have done anything differently.
