William's Story

Life My Kids are my greatest inspiration. Since they are now close to being grown, I'm shocked at how time has passed. It's been sometime since I updated this but time has come for changes. I still work for the same company going on 13 years in the making. It's been great to touch base with old friends that have since moved on, but still miss contact with others that have slipped into this thing we call life. We should all contend that life tends to change our mindsets but then again some things within us never change. It's important to remember one thing. Never forget what it was like to be young wild & crazy. Should this knowledge slip away from us in adulthood, how are we to ever understand our young ones? It makes sense to toss the idea around for a time. Then have a close look at your young. May shed some light on something we could be missing out on! Besides the day in & day out I have been spinning music when I can & still know many of the members of local bands & one band from Dallas that I'll go visit when I get a chance. Music of all kinds has always been a big part of my life & there are great times to be had in the right place. No I don't drink heavily & most times except my birthday I spare the drink so I can enjoy the band more. Besides, you miss to much of the antics of...Expand for more
others while they are lit! LOL Since the last entry here, I have discoverd many interesting things about people in general. Some good & some not so good. It's a shame that some memories sour present day life in such a way that some find themselves at odds over issues that have little meaning. Other memories have more justification to put us on defense mode. To say the least it becomes a tough bussiness to balance it all. A we attain wisdom over time, the kind we wish we had back in the day, the task of balance becomes simplified to a degree which should ease the tension from the outside world. Here in that fine place we gain our solace to move forward in these troubleing finacial times. It's not the first time our generation has dealt with these problems, but the problems our bigger none the less. Finding jobs in the recession right after high school & college when your major was worthless was frustrating for many. Now we face economy issues like our generation has never seen. Like before, we will some how suck it up & push on. Networking will be important in the short future so keep in touch with those we are all still close to & maybe rekindle some friendships that have a little dust on them. From myself, I wish you all well that visit this page. Oh my how times have changed us all!
