William's Story
Since the 60's, life has indeed changed. Married my sweetheart roller skating partner in '63 and she has kept me around all this time. Spent my professional life in real estate and am still dabbling to this day. Two sons came along in 64 and 66. Both are successful. Four grandchildren that I adore.
A hiccup occurred in 2005 when a botched up colon surgery resulted in the amputation of my left arm. Don't fret about me though. I bounced back after a few months and now played golf almost every day with a prosthetic arm. In August, 2009, I had the great thrill to play in the International Amputee Golf Championships held at Manchester Country Club. Met people with tragedies similar to mine from all over the world.

entured out to Scottsdale Arizona to play once again in the International Amputee Golf Championships and to my surprise, I came in 3rd place in the Senior Division. Came home with a beautiful National Championship trophy to add to my collection. My golfing is now limited to twice a week thanks to two back surgeries. This obviously has affected the quality of my game but at 73 years old I am lucky to be able to play at all.
My wife and I own about 30 different rental properties all over the state which keeps us very busy. We live in Bedford, NH in the summer season and in a golf community in Palm Beach Gardens FL (Ballenisles CC) from October to May. It's a tough life but someone has to do it. LIFE IS GOOD FOR THE DUBE FAMILY.
