Graduated from Towson State University in 1974 with a degree in Biology and Secondary Education. Taught 1 year at Easton Middle School on Maryland's Eastern Shore. Have been teaching biology at BelAir and Fallston High Schools since. Married in 1982 to Virginia Heflin, who is a professor of respiratory therapy at Essex Community College, and have two sons - Bill, 28, who graduated from the University of Baltimore in 2009, and Steve, who is 24 and a recent graduate of Frostburg. married in September, and he and his wife Katie settled on their new house in April..They live near York, PA. Keep in touch with Keith Moomaw - my dentist, Pat Gruse - who was a speech pathologist at Fallston, and I have taught the children of former classmates Jim Jones, Kathy Palardy, and Sandy Dietz. Keep in contact with retired teachers Dave Myers, Tom Congersky, John Holzworth, John Low, Judy Potter, and until he passed away 4 years ago, Gary Matej. Enjoy sports, fishing and golf. I retired in 2007 e after 33 years,but returned to teaching Biology at John Carroll High School, in 2008. I have retired again ( as of November 2012.)
