Bill's Story
Life
After LC, I went to the University of Washington and got a BS in Forestry (Wood Technology) and a MS in Pulp and Paper Science. 5 children, all girls, have blessed us with 12 grandchildren (8 boys and 4 girls). They all live within 10 miles of us so we see them often. I was retired (nice way of saying I was pushed out the door) from Weyerhaeuser after 35+ years in Research and Development and Occupational Safety and Health. r keep me plenty busy. We enjoy cruises and have logged 31 days on board from Alaska to S. America. A week in Israel in 2007 was a great experience. We returned in 2009 and saw and learned even more.
Due to the economy, I finally sold my french horn. Slim chance of playing it again. Sold for 4 times what Dad paid for it. Dad was always asking me if I had sold it. Sorry, Dad.
I still hear from some of the many of you that were in my Dad's Lewis & Clark Tiger Band and Orchestra.
I was elected a Fire Commissioner at South King (County) Fire and Rescue in 2016 for a 6-year term. Great experience!
