William's Story
William and his wife have resided in Champaign, Illinois for over fifty years. William retired form the University of Illinois after thirty years of teaching and research in Aviation Technology at the Institue of Aviation. William's institutions of learning include Prospect High School, Parks College, St Louis University completing Federal Aviation Administration technical aircraft maintenance and flight certification, completed an undergraduate degree from Lewis University, and finished graduate work at University of Illinois at Urb...Expand for more

In retirement, Bill and his wife Margaret have enjoyed traveling, enjoyed watching their children and grand children grow up, and continue their life long hobby's being a master gardner for Margaret and Bill being a musical instrument maker "Luthier". Making use of his many years of experience in wood working and learning a whole new level of working with wood. Bill has spent the last ten years building and repairing violins and guitars. And of course, being a supported of the University of Illinois, Fighting Illini!
