William's Story

In High School I went by my middle name, Don. After Glynn Academy, went to BJC for two years, kind of clueless in life, got married. Worked in a bank for 3 years as a computer operator back in the huge main frame days. Got divorced. Joined the Air Force met the love of my life, got married, spent the next 35+ years traveling around the World going through over 100 countries and multiple combat zones and finishing up as a CMSgt with over 10,000 flying hours on mainly C-141 and C-1...Expand for more
7 cargo type aircraft. In retirement I became a background actor and extra in several TV series and a number of movies. Covid made me seek a new post-retirement career path and I turned to photographer and automotive journalists. I've assisted with several books on Mustangs and continue to write for Mustang Times Magazine and Mustang Driver Digital Magazine. Over the years, I had one son, three granddaughters, and the World's greatest wife as we're shooting for 50 years together.
