William's Story
Life
After graduating from Dartmouth and getting my MBA from Wharton, I joined the investment banking firm Dillon, Read &Co. I have spent my entire career in investment banking and am currently a Senior Managing Director at Evercore Partners,an investment banking firm based in NY. My wife Judy and I have been married for 39 years and have two children. Our son, William, is 35, a graduate of Dartmouth and Lewis and Clark Law School and is currently a lawyer living in Portland Oregon. the undefeated National Championship Squash team in 2007. She received her MBA from Columbia and is now married, living in NYC and working for Colgate in marketing. Judy and I split our time between NYC and East Hampton with time out for fly fishing trips in Patagonia, Alaska and out West. I have served as a Trustee of Lenox Hill Hospital for 30 years including 11 years as Chairman. I am also a Trustee of the Northwell Health System and currently serve as Chairman of the National Park Foundation. I am a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
