William's Story
Joined the Army right out of High School, was a 19K...a tanker. Served in Desert Storm, and a couple more deployments to less than desirable neighborhoods.
Managed to make it to Tank Commander, SSG, prior to getting out in 1997. Found my wife while in the Army, married her in 1994. She stayed in and is going to retire in the summer of 2009 !
After getting out of the Army, I sold real estate for about a minute, then went back to work for the Army at Fort Stewart, GA as a DOD civilian teaching Tank and Bradley crews how to fight their vehicles, and proper gunnery techniques.
Moved to Wisconsin, when my wife was sent there to be a recruiter. Got my degree in Criminal Justice while there, worked as an investigator for a national retail chain, worked on internal theft and fraud most of the time. Also got involved in Fire and EMS as a volunteer while up there.
Moved to Maryland in the summer of 2001, and got on with Prince Georges County Fire Department, as a Fire Fighter Paramedic, and been doing that since. PGFD is one of the 15 busiest fire departments on the nation...saw and ate alot of smoke in those days ! Earned my de...Expand for more

Moved to San Angelo, Texas in 2006 where I continue to work as a paramedic. Work in Pecos County, the 2nd largest county in Texas, where transport times are routinely measured in hours ( as in more than 1 ) I also work for a hospital in Ballinger, Paramedic work again, the hospital has a garage in the back for the Ambo. Small Hosp, 20 some odd beds...
My wife is the Operations NCO ( S-3 for those in the know ) for the Army Battalion on Goodfellow AFB,
Somewhere along the way we picked up 3 kids. Our son, Zack will be 11 on 23 Feb 09. And, our twin girls, Ellie and Emma will be 7 on 22 Aug 09.
Got 2 dogs, a chocolate lab named Boscoe, and a black lab named Toby...those 2 are characters to say the least, team them up with kids and its non-stop mayhem at the Kuhar homestead.
Do alot of fishing and hunting. Hunting out here is phenomenal, got a deer lease where 10 pointers are considered small !!!
Looking forward to when my wife retires, so we can move to P-cola, hopefully summer of '09, lot more fishing in my future then !!! (West Texas isn't exactly known for its fishing !!)
