BY and large after leaving Tampa I've moved from state to state to country and back., as active duty military and then as a government employee. In Virginia at the moment having changed jobs and left the AF after 40yrs. I've been working in the field of Occupational Safety since 1980, think of an OSHA inspector and you'd be pretty close. Went on to college/university, got the required degrees (BS/MA) for advancing myself/career. Usual life with marriage, currently on 30+ yrs. She's from Ireland and we met on one of my UK assignments. I knew of many students in HS, I'm sure I'd recognize a name or two pretty quickly, although I don't believe I was known outside of a couple of classes, so I'm probably one of those shadow students. 17 Dec 2023 - Well I've decided to retire from federal service 31 Dec 2023. Made it to GS-14 so I can't complain. Will be moving to TN as my retirement home.
