William Perkins:  

I did a little Junior College after high school but went into the Navy in 66' Got hurt playing football in a Navy leauge on Guam, so I spent my last year in the Navy at Moffett Field. After the service I worked as a baker & cake decorator from 69 to 86. Then worked for United Airlines as a baker for 4 years, then as a mechanic from 90 to 2005 when I retired. I also did political cartoons for the Machinists Union paper. My 2nd wife & I lived in San Carlos for 33 years. Raised our 3 sons. Two were from her first marriage & one from mine. After we retired we moved to Reno, NV. The jury is still out on whether we will stay here. Still getting used to the high desert. We love to travel! Italy is our favorite place. (I still have family there.) Travel is easier for us because of the flying benifits of working for United & we have an online Travel business, with all the travel agents perks. Besides our 2 beautiful granddaughters & travel, I enjoy bowling (leauges are much cheaper up here) I carry a 185 avg. Golfing is fun too but not very good at it. My passion is singing.
