Here's my story from June 1969 to present: Went to USAF Academy in CO, graduating 1973. At USAFA, finished #2 out of ~1400 incoming freshman in obstacle course - where #1 was our top gymnast and #3 ran back kicks for the football team & sprinted on the track team. Went to UCLA for Masters, graduating with concentration in Finance in June 1974. In USAF had assignments in FL, MT, Arctic Circle, and FL again as Instructor at the Interceptor Weapons School. Joined Ford Finance at Car Product Development in Dearborn MI in 1978. Met wife Joanne in Ann Arbor, married in 1980. Joined Emerson Electric Co in St. Louis in 1983, departing in late 1999 having been VP level from '92 to '99. Among most interesting EMR assignments were managing $800 Mil Pension Fund and $2 Bil creative financings. Went into Trade Show business as SVP & CFO, maximizing my company stock holdings until 9-11-2001 when company value declined from $250 Mil to Zero.
