William's Story
While in high school at Arcadia I was working for the local National Weather Service Office at Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. I have stayed in weather ever since. I have been the official in charge of the airport weather office at the following locations, Prescott Az, Blythe Ca, Needles, Ca, Chicago O'Hare, Rockford Illinois, Phoenix Sky Harbor, SFO San Francisco Intl, San Diego Lindbergh, LAX Los Angeles International, Washington Dulles IAD, El Paso Texas and now at Houston Intercontinental IAH. I have lived in Texas since 1998 where I met and married my wife Danica. We have two kids who are college graduates, our daughter is a teacher in Galveston Texas and my son is awaiting a selection for customs and border patrol with his criminal justice degree and being fluent in spanish. I love the Houston area and that will be our home until we die.The kids were born before I was the dad...but Ive rais...Expand for more

Have zero desire to live outside of Texas ever again, this is home. I doubt anyone remembers me, hell I cant even find my picture in the yearbook. I consider myself lucky that I have a career where I look forward to going to work each morning. Not many can say that. I havent kept in touch with anyone from Arcadia as my career in weather has kept me moving about quite a bit and have lived in all 4 usa time zones so I think I have seen a lot of the USA. The entire time I spent at Hopi, Ingleside and Arcadia are the worst years of my life with the notable exception of 6th Grade. I am a diehard Sooner fan thanks to Mr. Boyd ....my son and I make a trip to one OU game per season. I even got my dad to come to Norman to see a game a few years back and my brother Matt has come to a few sooner games with me.
So to sum it up....I am still a dork who you probably never even noticed.
