William's Story
Life
After graduating from Oak Park High in 1970 I went to trade school for a year, then completed my apprenticeship in Tool & Die, (Moldmaking), in 1976. In 1983 I met my wife Melanie, (October 22, 1983). 2 months later we flew to Las Vegas and were married the day after Christmas. (Best move I ever made). We built a home in Lake Zurich and lived there until 1991 when we made the decision to move to Arizona which was a warm and welcome relief from Illinois and it's rotten weather, high taxes, and stupid gun laws. We've been out here almost 17 years now and I'm only sorry we did...Expand for more
n't move sooner! Melanie and I have been married going on 24 years, and have no kids. Melanie doesn't work and I work weekend nights only which allows us to spend more time together doing the things we like. Summers are hot and we spend them by the pool taking it easy, usually with a nice cold drink. In the Winter we do a lot of shooting and outdoor activities. Something I like about wearing a Tee Shirt and sunglasses in January, instead of making sure the damn snowblower has gas! Both of us have been healthy and happy for the last 35+ years.
