William's Story
Two weeks after graduation in '62 I was sitting in college classes at Lee Colege. After four semesters at Lee College I had an opportunity of a life time. In the summer of '63 I traveled to 18 countries with a group of Baptist college students. While flying from Calif. to Hawaii, I saw a young lady I wanted to met. As circumstances would have it,we dated on the tour for 7 weeks and married in June of '66. We had one son, Jason. Gingy (Virginia) was diagnosed...Expand for more
with breast cancer in Jan.'90 and passed away in June of that year. We had a great and happy marriage. I was single for 10 years and remarried a lady I taught with in 2000. I know many of you have lost spouses since those happy high school days, I am sorry.
I have taught electronics for 34 years in public schools and properity schools. I have one granddaughter in Round Rock, Texas. I don't see retirement in the near future and will probably work to the end.
