William's Story
When I left Tech, I did the usual military service, got married, received a BS Degree, in that order. After receiving my degree, I began my long career in Construction, maintenance and consulting. My first job was with Graver Tank in East Chicago, IN. After 14 years with Graver, I relocated to Baton Rouge, LA and went to work for Barnard and Burk. In 1984, I joined Daniel Construction Company as a maintenance management consultant. In 1989, I left Daniel and went to work for my present employer, Jacobs Engineering Group and completing my career at JACOBS am managing the union direct hire business as Vice President, General Manager and Director of Labor Relations. I recently began a new career with CBRE as a Regional Building Manager in their Facility Engineering and Maintenance Division assigned to the Amazon.com facility in Hebron, Kentucky.

be having worked in Africa, MidEast, Asia, as well as North and South America. From 2011 until 2014, I worked all over Canada from coast to coast and from the far North to the Southern Boarder. During my tenure at JACOBS having responsibly for the entire U.S., my work took me to almost every State in the Union. Although my work over the years has caused me to spend significant time from home, I've remained married to the same saintly woman for 50 years and blessed with two wonderful daughters, five grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Over the years, I continued my education becoming certified in Six Sigma, Lean, Maintenance & Reliabilty Professional, Lean Six Sigma, Abatement and Safety. I hold contractor's licenses in 12 States and Master Pipe Fitter and Master Electrician certificates in two States.
Now beginning a new chapter in my career by joining CBRE, I'm looking forward to taking on new challenges and opportunities.
