William's Story
After high school I went to UC Davis, became the editor of the UCD Third World Forum and graduated with a degree in Economics in 1978. During college I drove a 1971 Corvette Stingray with t-tops. Miss that car! After college, I went straight to law school, which was Hastings' College of the Law in San Francisco. I graduated with Russ Hom, a fine Sacramento judge, and Chris Darden, the OJ prosecutor. In 1981 I passed the California bar exam and started out as a government securities attorney in Washington, DC with the SEC. I worked on rules and regulations for creating America's National Market System for stock trading. After the SEC, I was hired by the Philadelphia Stock Exchange (the PHLX"), America's first and oldest stock exchange, to be its General Counsel. Practices and China Cross-Border Practices. I have often traveled to the Peoples Republic of China for facilitating business between the two greatest nations on earth. I now have my own law practice and choose my engagement projects very selectively. In 1988 I got married to Marsha, who grew up in western Ohio. We have two great, now college grad kids, Adam who graduated from UCLA and is now in the bio-pharma industry in the Philadelphia region, and Audrey who graduated from Loyola Marymount and is working for a global communications firm in LA. As empty nesters, we live in Berwyn, PA and have two great rescue dogs, Cali, a sheltie, and Lily, a sheltie-poo. In my spare time, I am digitalizing some of the old movies made at JFK in the 70's. You may be starring in some of these!! I have placed some on YouTube and encourage you to send me your email and/or cell number so I can send you links to these time capsule gems. They will make you laugh! Hope all is well with all and please feel free to reach out to me!!!
