Life
Can you believe it!? Me, a teacher?!
School
Studying all the time. Without a car and living way off campus, I really didn't experience college life the way most people do. I f***ed up in high school and I didn't want to blow it again!
Workplace
Working for the airlines was good and bad. The good was the free travel. The bad was that the airlines, since 1978, when Jimmy Carter deregulated them, have been a source of unemployment, layoffs, furloughs, chapter 11 bankruptcy filings, and out and out ...Expand for more
- you don't, and never will work here anymore type of environment. Also the seniority system in the airlines sucks, especially when there are people less competent than you working there, and you get laid off first because of seniority.
Military
Great times in Germany and Europe being stationed there in the late -80s. Travelled all over Europe - from Spain to Poland; from Sweden to Greece. Never hit the countries on the edge - Portugal, Ireland, Norway, Turkey. Oh well! I guess that I'll have to go back!
