I'm still an a**hole, only now I'm rich. ;-) OK, not as rich as I'd like...I own a music store in Denver (actually, it owns me) and I have a pretty good internet biz: I sell vacuum tubes. (Those glass things your father was always messing with inside that B&W TV in the rec room that never worked right.) Seems like most guitar players won't use anything but a tube amp. I design and build tube amps, too, and if you listen to the radio, chances are pretty good you've heard one of mine - I built the amps Derek Trucks uses with the Allman Brothers Band, and I set up the amps he used on the recent Clapton World Tour. I also do work for Clint Black, LeeAnne Rimes, Meatloaf, Susan Tedeschi (wife of Derek Trucks) and a whole pile of other folks from the "A" tour circuit. I'll be recording with Derek and his wife down in Jacksonville sometime this year (or early next) whenever the two of them can get enough time away from the tour circuit to do a recording session. (I'm an organist, a Hammond player.) I quit playing for over 20 years, but when Derek found out I was an organist, he demanded I resurrect my chops.
