William's Story
I was raised on New Hampshire Ave in Langley Park, Md. I had 2 brothers and 1 sister, a working mother and a wandering drunken father. The year was 1965 and if my family problems were not so bad, I probably would have had decent grades and graduated with my High Point classmates, but life is strange, and I graduated in Berlin Germany with the help of a high school GED.
Because of my family problems I left school and went into the US Army in 1965. I spent the first 3 years in Berlin Germany on scout duty guarding the Belin Wall. I then got out of the military, got in trouble with a beautiful blonde, got my heart broken and went back in the Army for 17 more years.

ent as a private contractor for the next 13 years and then fully retired.
I am now 63 years old, lost my father, mother and one of my brothers, and don't have any connection to my other brother or sister.
Coming back to civilian life was not that great. Dealing with people my age when I was in the military was not that great. We were considered rapist and murderers back then if we wore a VietNam patch on our uniform.
I'm glad to see that most Americans today appreciate their military men and women. They should, because most of them have no idea what type of sacrifices those people put up with to keep Americans safe.
Well, if you know me, get on my guest book.
We'll see what happens.
I always wanted to be a musician when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns out, they were wrong.
