kplace I am surprised that I didn't go into Politics but I play them well in the Office areana. I joined the Army and went into the field of Personnel Administration. I enjoy the social interaction and and giving guidance to new soldiers joining the Army so keeping ontop of things running the Office was my key interest. Yes I went thru Airborne Training and joined the 82nd Airborne Division but was picked up and placed in the General's Office instead of in a Infantry Unit, I have great people skills and organization and they the Army realized that so they used me for those skills. I continued that train after the Army into the Reserves and National Guard then in civilian life worked in Silicon Valley then NYC and Portland, Oregon all in personnel positions later was hired by the State of Oregon for OSHA and enjoyed that a great deal. From there I was picked up by a New Zealand Company to work in Australia in Human Resources and that's my calling writing policies hiring and training especially Diversity including writing domestic partnerships and acknowledging the changing workforce with gay and lesbian partnerships including benefits for partners of non-traditional relationships it seems most Commonwealth States acknowledge non traditional relationships and are a bit more open minded then the USA Workforce Administration seems to be loosely using the term we are a Diverse Workforce. Military Spent Basic Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina then went to Infantry School, TOW Wireguided Missile School then Administrative Specialist School then onto Airborne School at Fort Benning, Georgia. Thousands of push-ups and running in the HOT sun but ok today I do have some great photo's from that training. Met some great guys that I am still friends today after all these years passing.
