And life goes on ... My business partner and I own a manufacturer's representative company, selling photographic equipment to the specialty stores all over California and Northern Nevada. We've owned the company for almost 25 years, buying it from our former senior partner. My wife, Chere, and I just celebrated our 34th Anniversary and have lived in San Ramon for 30 years. We bought a home when the community was "way out in the sticks" but now is a hub for companies that have fled San Francisco, like Chevron, Toyota and AT&T, just to name a few. I used to have to wait for cattle drives across the two lane highway that led to the freeway - now I wait for traffic. I miss the old days! Chere had two young children when we married, a 7 year old son and a younger daughter. The daughter, Dyanne, never had a relationship with her father so adoption was a solution that we all wanted.
