Well, this choice to join the military was sudden and out of nowhere, I actually chock it up to God's plan. Some may say, yeah right. But I have a motivation and determination I have never had in my entire life. And by God, I will be in, or ready for, basic before Christmas next year. And that means acing the army PFT. I will NOT be a nobody. I strive to be the best at what ever I make my career out to be. Thats one of the reasons I want to leave my job. I became an ASE master tech at age 20 (could have been 19 but I was lazy) and a Nissan master tech at 21. To the knowledge of the instructors at "Nissan school", I was the youngest master tech they encountered (and one of the all-time lowest paid). And as such I feel I'm at the end of my rope (I have nowhere further to advance to) in that industry and it's time for a change.
Update 20100625: Joined Army for E.O.D. (89d). Leave for Ft Leonard Wood MO October 12.
