William's Story
After high school, I joined the army and served in Vietnam as a combat infantryman. When I returned I dropped out for a couple years and did the hippie/counter cultural thing. I got married and had two wonderful children. I went to college and earned a Masters in Theology.I taught Biblical history for many years.
In the early 80's I began my writing career and eventually wrote 10 pubished books including six on the Vietnam experience. In 1988, I founded a humanitarian organization called "Vets With A Mission" which worked in Vietnam building primary health care centers, funding orphanages and street-children p...Expand for more
rograms, rennovating hospitals and shipping medical supplies. We took large teams of Vietnam Veterans and their families back to work on our various projects. We also supported the underground church.
In the late 90's I began bronze sculpturing.
In 2000 I went through a divorce with my wife of 31 years. A year later I met my present wife and we are living in Denmark.
I am retired now, financially independent and we are traveling the world as much as we can.
I guess all of us have much more to say in the way of life experiences, insights, and character developement but this should suffice for now.
