Willie's Story
Life
Life is good though challenging. That's how you know you are alive.I have 2 daughters and a son. I am currently working as a Sytems Analyst in corporate America. I can say that My life has been interesting, never dull. I have travelled some both abroad and across the USA. Quality of life is so important. It's not so much how much you have but how you appreciate and can be appreciated. Quality is Quantity. To all my old friends, my best to you. Always feel free to drop a line. I have done so on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Love to you all. ....Will
College
Mostly nights. Mostly part-time. had some great professors. Lots of cramming. Lots of county college and then on to Fairleigh dickinson univeristy in Madison, NJ where I majored in Business Management. In addition I graduated with honors from Brick Computer Science Institute, where I studied Computer Programming and System Design.
Workplace
My career path has changed greatly since High School. In the seventies I was mostly concerned about the things that I could do immediately such as change pain and suffering of others. We were a very socially conscious generation. I chose to go ...Expand for more
to college and study Psycology & Sociology. Inevitally I became interested in computers after working 10 years in juvenile detention,Juvenile shelters, and even taking kids into the scared straight program here in New Jersey's Rahway State Prison. I went to technical school and then back to college nights to train in the area of Business Management and Computer Programming & Sytems design. Since graduating back in the early 80's, I worked as a business analyst for a major Utility company. I continued my quest to work with young adults by coaching football again. A game that I felt had given me the most focus while In was in High school. I continue to coach today and work with 13 year olds. Coaching put me back in the the meaningful business again. I started my own consulting firm in 1997, which acquires job placement opportunities for IT professionals. I take on projects myself as well. When I retire from employment , I'm sure that I will be a volunteer somewhere. I'll make sure I get the vacations in as well. Life is what it is, An experience. The latest adventure has been coaching at Malcolm X Shabazz High school in Newark NJ. Young adults need good mentors.
