Willis's Story
Hi anyone, someone, or somebody. I'll start off with sharing a little of my past. I joined the Army right after High School. I went to Germany at the time it was West Gernmany, I was there for 2.5 years. It was a great adventure for a young man. I got to visit Holland, Amsterdam that was a eye opening journy. One of my journys was The German Alps, there I learned to Ski. What an eye opening experence. I visited Munich Germany which at the time, was claimed to be the largest Beer Hall in the world. Well my experence of Germany were fond and exciting. After the Army I went to College at Northern Virginia Community Colledge in Mannasas. I transfered to James Madison University. I majored in Psychology and Business. Went back into the Army as an Officer. What was I doing.lol As a officer I was trained as a spy lol just kidding. My job had to do with missles. My first duty was in South Korea. I was only there for a year, I got to learn about ...Expand for more
their culture, food and music. We as Americans were welcomed in Korea and their hospitality was very welcomed. After Korea I went to Fort Hood Texas, I loved Texas the food the cities. My favority city was Austin, but San Antonio came in at a close second. I worked in the retail Management area for twenty years. It was a way to use my college degree and my skills in management. After management I went for a couple of sales jobs. Not an exciting area but worth it in the long run. Sence then I have wrote a Poetry book called "Beyond Horizons" the book is available on Amazon.com . So I am currently semi retired. I write my poetry, paint abstracts, draw, am currently learning to play the Guitar. I love life and all that it has to offer. Isn't life Grand. So many times we wonder what life has to offer. Many times we can make it happen by believing in ourselves and knowing anything worth while can happen. Being optimistic can make anything happen.
