Life
I have been married for 43 years to my childhood sweetheart William Sanford. We have 2 children, Yolanda 35 and Angela 31 and a grandchild, Cierra who is 12. We currently live in Southfield, MI. I am currently laid off from my job of 24 years but having a wonderful time, I think they did me a favor, life is grand (smile). William is a physical education teacher and a basketball coach at an elememtary school. To give you a little background of what I've been doing since graduating. I started working for the State of Michigan in September 1966 and continued until June 1975. At that time, William and I started selling a waterless cookware called Miracle Maid cookware where we put on home demonstrations--we were good and did very well. me. Through Miracle Maid, we won many trips which took us to London, England, Montreaux, Switzerland, Italy, France, Hawaii, Mexico, Bermuda, New Orleans. William always told me that he would show me the world and he sure did. We ended our Miracle Maid career in 1990 because William wanted to complete his education. We both feel that Miracle Maid taught us how to be positive individuals in everything that we do and has helped us tremendously in the jobs that followed. My parents are deceased and I have an older sister. My sister and I go on cruises every year and if we're not cruising, you'll find us in Jamaica. We love to travel. Willliam is content to stay at home since he doesn't like cruise ships--he went on one cruise which was to Bermuda which was the cruise from hell and he swore that he would never cruise again.
