Laree's Story
In 1964 I left Southern California to live the four-seasons life in Denver, CO. But, alas, I met Jim Weaver (also a 1963 Dominguez grad) and returned to Southern California.
We were married in 1973 and enjoyed life in Lakewood with our 2 children, our families, our neighbors, our former classmates, his co-workers and our church family. Life catapulted me into widowhood in August 1985 when Jim was fatally injured in a 3-wheeler accident on Pismo Beach.

God's creation in this picturesque state, a loving church family and 4 awesome grandchildren.
My year usually includes a sojourn to Orange County for restorative days at the beach to reset the rhythm of my soul with the changing tide and the refreshing scent of salt air. My favorite watercolor is "Boulder California."
Local and global travels, volunteer opportunities, and granny nanny gigs fill my days, satisfy my quest for adventure and provide purposeful pleasure. II Corinthians 1:3-4
