Lowell's Story
Since high school I have kept pretty busy. I went to college the first year out of school and then dropped out and didn't get back for four years. During that time I learned a lot about computers and managed to work my way up to managing computer systems.
Years later I went to law school, practiced law for ten years and then went to work for the UM Law School as their Director of Legal Technology so that I could combine the two strands of my work history.
On a more personal level, I have been happily married since 1986 and my wife and I have one child, a son, who was born in 1996. Last year my son decided that he desperately wanted a dog so now we have a Westie in the family.
Since 1989 we have lived in Turf Valley Overlook in Ellicott City and my guess is that is where we will remain for the long haul. We love where we live and are pretty dug into our lives there.

a lot of time for much else! I belong to St. John's Episcopal Church, my son is in Boy Scouts and takes piano, plays basketball and wants to start playing baseball.
For the past 5 or 6 years I have been getting up early and going to the gym every day before work and even on weekends, not because I am a fanatic but because I have learned over the years that if exercise is not a part of my daily routine, I just don't do it at all. I run every other day and then lift weights on those days that I don't run. The running shows, the weight lifting, not so much...
When my wife and I get a chance we like to travel. We've been out west a number of times, to Europe a couple, and Bermuda and Mexico (for Will Wilson's wedding, which was a blast), among others. All of these years into our marriage and travel is still something we do very well together!
