Life
Greetings, from the cold hard north, fellow GHSers. Life's been good to me so far, for which I'm grateful. After 26 years of marriage to an amazing man, I find myself alone again, but not lonely. He left me 4 of the most incredible daughters and a gallery full of good times and memories.
Our life together took place across the country and finally landed us in Ottawa, Ontario. Not my ideal choice, but it grows on ya after 10 years or so. In anycase, I'm stuck here for the time being. (Come visit. I'll give ya a tour.) My daughters have all attended an "Arts" highschool and put down roots here. The older two majored in Vocal and Band, respectively. They are now both married and onto the next important stage in life...making me a grandmaw:)
My younger daughters are both also students of the Vocal program and doing quite well in the local music competetions and what not. They keep me young and VERY busy between vocal lessons, dance practices, jobs and school. I am ru...Expand for more

As for me...well, I went to U of D and got a degree in Elementry Education then I got married and took 23 years of maturnity leave. I finally started putting my degree to use in 2004 when I took on a high school class of special needs and behavorial teens. Not the work with the deaf I once dreamed of, but just as rewarding. If you can reach a teen, you've really done something with your life. I hope I've touched a few in my short career so far. My own say I have and that's no small vote of confidence.
My greatest accomplishment though has been my girls. Living to see them grown and leading productive lives of their own hasn't been easy. Several near death events in my life have given me a new set of eyes. Faith, family and self fulfillment are the ONLY things that matter. So, I say again...God's been good to me.
P.S. yes, I still love Neil Diamond, but I've added Josh Groban to the list, too. A girl's gotta have a little varity, doesn't she?
