Linda's Story
Lots of fun, exciting things have happened since high school. Did lots of traveling and have now settled near Pryor on Lake Hudson.
Married Sam Garett, my high school sweetheart, in August 1975. Spent the next 25 years following his Air Force career. We lived in Nebraska, Missippi, Florida, New Mexico, the Philippines, Washington DC, and Midwest City, OK. We divorced in 1998.
Along the way, we had three great kids and now have five grandsons. The boys live in Texas and my daughter lives in Kansas. The boys look exactly like Sam and Jenny looks like me!
My favorite job was as the Tickets and Tours Director at Bolling AFB in DC. I got paid to take people on cruises, to Disney, New York, Atlantic City, Niagra Falls, Redskins football games, Orioles baseball games and all the DC attractions. It was a fun, fun job!

play ball every day of the year. I got a two year degree while I was there and coached my kids Little League teams. It was a very poor country, but beautiful scenery.
I have traveled a lot since high school, both as an Air Force wife (we moved about every year) and civilian government employee.
The hardest things I've had to do was a 12-week miliary Public Affairs journalism school (those helmets and flax vest are very heavy) and recover following a car wreck that broke my back in three places. The accident put an end to my ball playing days!
Now, I work for my brother, Carl. He owns many Jackson Hewitt Tax Service franchises in OK, TX, KS and MO. I run the NE OK area for him.
I live on Lake Hudson near Pryor. I always wanted to live on the lake...I was just thinking a different lake!
I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone again. Can't wait for the reunion cruise!
