Winston's Story
I am living in Ottawa (since 1965)- in West End near Bayshore (if that is familiar to you.)
I retired from Public Works& Government Services Canada as of 2001. I have been consulting part time since then. My work has been in building automation (temperature control in large buildings). In 1986 during EXPO86 my family drove to Vancouver by motor home, travrlling throug many places along way. Winnipeg, Edmonton,several towns in BC before reaching Vancouver. e. That was a great trip. My father passed away the next February, so I was happy to had that time with him. From Edmonton we drove through Jasper and on down to Lake Louise. What a magnificant trip that was.
While working with PWGSC I made a several trips to East and West to check out some of the automation systems at institutions.
I don't have any immediate plans to travel at present. My wife Diane has MS and is in wheelchair a good part of time. So our travel is local to Ottawa.
