Wolf's Story
Life
I graduated in 1970. I went to Skyline College for two years, and then CSUSF for one semester. While at Skyline I met a girl from Guam. I followed her to Guam in 1972. Finished school at the University of Guam in 1974. Started working for a company called Duty Free Shoppers and have been with them ever since (DFS Galleria now). We married, had two daughters. We moved to Saipan in 1979. Divorced in 1983 and again in 1984. Married a woman from the Marshall Islands and we have a boy and a girl, 23 and 1187. We live in the Western Pacific about 1500 miles east of Manila, Southeast of Tokyo, and 3000 miles north of Sydney Australia. I made it to the 10th reunion but none since. I have been sober for over 23 years and enjoy my life. I am a founding member of the Saipan Hash House Harriers, The Saipan Sportsfishermans Association, and try and stay fit by going to the Gym 5 days a week and running long on Saturdays.
On November 9, 2003 I went to see the Rolling Stones in concert in Hong Kong and it was FANTASTIC.
In September 2004 I went to the Fog Fest and had dinner with some people from the class of 71-73.
In December of 2004 I helped open the first Off Airport Duty Free store in Japan in Okinawa.
In July 2006 I had quintuple by-pass surgery in Manila. I am recuperating very nicely and went back to work on 9/25/2006. I was on temporary assignment in Guam and commuted weekly but have since been re-assigned to my home in Saipan. In November of 2007, the Saipan Hash House Harriers celebrated 1...Expand for more
200 runs. I moved permanently back to Saipan in April of 2007 and have been here ever since. I went to San Francisco in October of 2008 to celebrate my father's 80th birthday and got to see the Blue Angels from his apartment roof. Wow. My son made me a grandpa ion October17 2009 for the first time (and she is a cutie) and my oldest daughter got married in September 2009. I went to Hong Kong on November 6 to help the company I work for celebrate 50 years of existence. It was AWESOME> And this month I moved to Hong Kong for temporary assignment and it is even MORE AWESOME than just visiting here. I will be heading back to my home in Saipan on Sunday 4/21 as my temporary assighment is over. I really like everything about Hong Kong except the air quality. It is terrible. But that did not stop me from getting out and hiking as much as I could on the well maintained and numerous hiking trails all over Hong Kong AND the New Territories. I was really surprised at the abundance of nature here. I joined the Wanchai Hash House Harriers while I was here and that helped me to maintain my Sanity. I also took a couple of side trips to the Philippines and Australia. One for pleasure and the other to attend the Australia National Convention of Alcoholics Anonymous. This is the third Australian Convention I have attended.,After I returned to Saipan from Hong Kong, I had a temporary assignment in Guam for 3 months. In April of 2014 I relocated to Honolulu Hawaii and work at the airport. I have a home in Ewa Beach.
