Edward's Story
I can't believe that it's been 50 years since we graduated from Fairfax High. Like you, I've had high moments and been down in the dumps. (high: listening to Aretha Franklin play jazz at her home after eating her home cooking; low: watching my wife of 25 years slowly die from colon cancer). but most of us have made through somehow. i may not remember some of you because i was a shy, reserved guy in high school who really didn't want to be there at all. i was done with school by then and wanted to get out ...Expand for more
into the world. so don't take it personally that i can't remember you; i was lost into my own world. i am grateful to have known you guys because i've never met a hipper group of budding intellectuals, incipient revolutionaries, and all ground good peeps. I went from being a Les Vivants to Les Deviants (sounds great with French pronunciation) but am glad to have become a documentary filmmaker, a writer, a non-profit arts manager, a father, a political organizer, etc. Tell me what's shakin' in your world.
