from teaching. I’ve had two nonfiction articles published, one in the November 1982 issue of Honolulu Magazine entitled “The Defiant Leper of Kalalau Valley,” and the other, “The Manuel Reis Case,” appearing in the 1982 edition of The Hawaiian Journal of History. Nowadays I enjoy reading, playing drums and guitar, cooking, gardening, movies, TV and relaxing. Sometimes I attend court and legislative sessions when issues important to the community are being heard. I’m also someyimes a Delegate to the HSTA-Retired Assn’s Delegate Assembly. In other words, I’m busy just being alive. Thank you for reading my story. Aloha & Best Wishes to all!
